Shipping Policy

We ship orders twice a week to within the 48 continental United States via UPS Ground. Fiber Fizica currently does not ship internationally. Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii can be available upon request, but will incur higher shipping fees and/or alternate carriers.

Shipping costs take into account the postage price as well as the packaging material costs. Knitting machines in particular are large, heavy and fragile, so extra care is made to ensure they arrive in excellent condition. Shipping charges are on a sliding scale based on the weight of the packaged product.

The vintage knitting machines I sell are exceptionally packaged, including several inches of impact-resistant foam, bubble wrap, and are shrink wrapped to ensure no shifting of items during transit. Shipping boxes are secured with strapping to increase integrity of packaging, as some machines can weigh over 40 pounds.

All items include shipping insurance for the purchase price of the item. In the event your item arrives damaged, please contact me and I will file a claim and work with you to make sure you get the service you need!

Return Policy / Warranty

All sales of yarn and software are final with no returns or refunds.

For all other items, we offer a 30 day return policy. Please note that the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

For brand new Silver Reed knitting machines, there is a 90-day warranty through the US Distributor (Knitcraft, Inc.) against any manufacturer’s defects. Please contact me if this occurs.
